Realme Prepares to Expand Its Budget 5G Lineup
Realme has officially confirmed the arrival date of its next
budget 5G handset—the Realme C85 5G—through a dedicated microsite on
Flipkart. The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart and the Realme
India store, and the brand has also shared several important hardware
details ahead of the launch. One of the biggest highlights of the device is its
huge 7,000mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging. The phone
will also carry an IP69 rating, making it one of the most rugged
offerings in its segment.
Realme C85 5G India Launch Date & Key Details
According to the Flipkart microsite, the Realme C85 5G
will launch in India on November 28. Alongside the release date, the
company has revealed several of the phone’s major features.
The standout spec is its 7,000mAh battery, which
Realme claims can deliver:

minutes of calling on just 1% battery
The handset supports 45W fast charging, providing 1.5
hours of usage with only a 5-minute charge, and also includes 6.5W
reverse charging to power other devices.
The Realme C85 5G is built to be durable, offering:

- MIL-STD-810H
shock protection
The display size hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the screen
will deliver up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. Realme is also
introducing an AI Edit Genie, its new AI-based image editing tool.
Photography is handled by a 50-megapixel Sony AI camera on the rear.

The Realme C85 5G was launched in Vietnam a few weeks
earlier with similar hardware. That model features:
