Anthropic Set to Unveil Claude Opus 4.5 — New AI Giant Could Launch This Week!
New Frontier Model From Anthropic May Be Days Away
Anthropic appears to be gearing up for the debut of its next
flagship AI system, the Claude Opus 4.5. According to recent leaks, the
upcoming large language model has been spotted on a third-party platform, and a
separate release schedule hints that its launch could take place on Monday.
While official details remain scarce, speculation suggests that Opus 4.5 may
deliver major upgrades in coding strength and autonomous agent abilities—areas
Anthropic has been steadily improving across the Claude 4.5 lineup.
Opus 4.5 Sightings Spark Launch Rumors
Tech tipster @kimmonismus shared on X (formerly
Twitter) that Claude Opus 4.5 briefly appeared on Poe, a chatbot service
known for hosting external AI models. Soon after, the tipster posted what
appears to be a release timeline, marking November 24 as the target
date.
The rumor mill intensified when Peter Dedene, founder
of Zenjoy, posted a screenshot of the same release table. It included a
reference to “Claude Kayak,” believed to be Anthropic’s internal
codename for Opus 4.5.
Despite the growing excitement, Anthropic has not revealed
any confirmed specifications or performance metrics. Still, based on recent
trends, industry watchers expect improvement in areas such as:
- Code
generation
- Agent-like
task automation
- Advanced
reasoning
- Tool
and computer-use capabilities
Previous Claude 4.5 Models Set High Expectations
Anthropic has rapidly expanded the 4.5 family this year. Claude
4.5 Sonnet, released in September, and Claude 4.5 Haiku, introduced
in October, both showed impressive performance gains across coding, complex
reasoning, and specialized knowledge tasks.
Sonnet even achieved a 77.2% score on the SWE-bench
Verified evaluation—surpassing models from OpenAI’s GPT-5 line and Google’s
Gemini 2.5.
Anthropic also recently disclosed that Claude played a
central role in a large-scale autonomous cyberattack experiment, marking
the first documented case where an AI agent independently executed most of the
hacking workflow with limited human prompts.
With that backdrop, expectations for Opus 4.5 are
significantly high.
