Xiaomi 17 & 17 Ultra India Launch Timeline Leaks — Major Specs Revealed!
Xiaomi’s New Flagships Prepare for Global Expansion
Xiaomi’s latest premium lineup—Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro,
and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max—recently debuted in China, each powered by Qualcomm’s
top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Now, fresh leaks suggest that
the standard Xiaomi 17 and its high-end sibling, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra,
are gearing up for an India launch.
In contrast, the Pro variants—known for their unique secondary rear
displays—may remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
Possible India Launch Timeline: What the Leak Reveals
According to tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh),
both the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are undergoing testing in
India. If all goes as planned, Xiaomi could introduce the duo in the country around
March 2026.
The Ultra model has not been officially revealed yet, but several early reports
outline what Xiaomi might be preparing behind the scenes.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Expected Specifications & Standout Features
Display & Design

Xiaomi is expected to pair the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with
100W wired fast charging, ensuring flagship-level power and quick
top-ups.

What About the Pro and Pro Max?
According to the leak, the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17
Pro Max—launched in China alongside the standard model—may not make their
way to international markets. Xiaomi could focus on the standard and Ultra
variants for its global rollout.
Software: HyperOS 3 Expected to Arrive With the Series
Xiaomi has confirmed that HyperOS 3, based on Android
16, will launch in India soon. The upcoming Xiaomi 17 series is likely to
