Lava Shark Pro 5G Spotted on IMEI Database — Another 5G Phone Set to Arrive Soon
New 5G Model Likely to Join Lava’s Shark Series Soon
Lava seems to be
gearing up for another addition to its Shark lineup, this time with 5G support.
Just weeks after launching the Lava Shark 2 4G in India, the company’s next
model—believed to be the Lava Shark Pro 5G—has reportedly shown up in
the IMEI database. This early listing suggests that the phone is inching closer
to its official debut.
The sighting comes shortly after Lava introduced the Agni 4, featuring a
dual-camera setup and a sizeable 5,000mAh battery.
What We Know So Far About the Lava Shark Pro 5G
Tipster Paras
Guglani (@passionategeekz) claims that the upcoming Shark Pro 5G will serve
as a more premium entry within the Shark series. The handset is said to carry
the model number LXX527 in the IMEI records.
However, details such as its hardware, software features, launch timeline, and
pricing continue to remain undisclosed. Since Lava has not officially
acknowledged the model’s existence, all early leaks should be viewed with
caution.
If confirmed, this
would mark the fourth smartphone in the Shark line after the Lava Shark,
Shark 5G, and the recently launched Shark 2.
A Quick Look Back at the Lava Shark 2
The Lava Shark 2 made its India debut in October with a
starting price tag of Rs. 6,999 for its lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage
option.
Key features include:
- 6.75-inch
HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate
- Unisoc
T7250 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB RAM
- 50MP
single rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera
- IP54
rating for dust and splash protection
- 5,000mAh
battery with 18W fast charging
With these specs forming the baseline, expectations are
naturally higher for the Pro 5G version.
