Motorola seems to be gearing up for a new premium variant of
its recently released Motorola Edge 70. The standard model, introduced globally
last month, arrived as the international counterpart of the Motorola X70 Air
from China. It currently comes in three Pantone-backed colour options — Bronze
Green, Gadget Grey, and Lily Pad. Now, a new fourth finish may soon join the
lineup through a fresh collaboration with Swarovski, following the brand’s
earlier limited-edition releases of the Razr 60 and Moto Buds Loop in August.
A Swarovski-Inspired Motorola Edge 70 May Be on the Way
A new leak shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass
(@evleaks) suggests that Motorola is preparing a Swarovski Edition of
the Edge 70, finished in Pantone’s 2026 Colour of the Year: Cloud Dancer.
While the post doesn’t specify an exact launch date, the promotional material
appears official — hinting that the reveal could be near.
The leaked poster showcases a refined off-white back panel
crafted with vegan leather. The highlight is the arrangement of 14 embedded
Swarovski crystals, giving the phone a luxurious touch. The device also
features a silver metal frame engraved with the text “PANTONE Cloud Dancer”
along the left side.
This would be Motorola’s second smartphone featuring
Swarovski accents, building on the limited-edition Razr 60 and Moto Buds Loop
models. Pricing remains unknown, but the standard Edge 70 is currently
available in the UK at GBP 700 (around Rs. 80,000). The Swarovski
Edition is expected to carry a premium over the base model.
Design Upgrade Only — Specifications Likely Remain the Same
While the exterior receives a high-end makeover, the
internals of the Swarovski Edition are expected to remain unchanged from the
regular Motorola Edge 70.
