OnePlus Ace 6T Specs Confirmed: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 165Hz Display, 8,000mAh Battery & Glacier Cooling
OnePlus is gearing up to introduce the Ace 6T in
China later this month, and anticipation is building as the company continues
to reveal new details. After the handset appeared on the brand’s official
website—showing its colour options, design elements, and dual-camera
layout—OnePlus has now shared fresh insights into its performance, charging
system, cooling setup, and display tech.
Confirmed Specs & Features of the OnePlus Ace 6T
In a recent post on Weibo, OnePlus China President Li
Jie Louis unveiled several major highlights about the upcoming device.
According to the executive, the Ace 6T will debut as the first smartphone
powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, setting a new bar for
flagship performance.
The handset will also house a massive 8,000mAh battery,
supported by 100W wired fast charging. To help manage the heat generated
by the powerful chipset and high-speed charging, OnePlus is introducing a new “Glacier
Cooling System”, which reportedly uses an expanded thermal dissipation area
for more efficient temperature control.
Ultra-Smooth Display & Rugged Build
OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 6T will feature a display
capable of reaching up to 165Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smoother visual
experience—especially beneficial for high-frame-rate gaming.
Durability also seems to be a major focus. The phone is set
to launch with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water
resistance, backing it with an unusually high level of environmental
protection. For added convenience and security, OnePlus is equipping the device
with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
The executive also mentioned that the device includes a standard
bypass power supply to reduce heat during charging and features the same advanced
gyroscope found in the OnePlus 15 series.
Gaming Enhancements & Thermal Innovations
Gamers will likely appreciate OnePlus’ new “Wind Chaser
Gaming Kernel”, designed to push the phone to 165fps gameplay.
Paired with an “e-sports triple-core” processing architecture, the Ace
6T aims to deliver tournament-level performance.
The phone will even support a 144fps mode for Honor of
Kings, one of the most popular mobile esports titles in China.
To improve comfort during long gaming sessions, the Ace 6T
boasts a balanced 50:50 weight distribution and a micro-arc metal
frame, making the device easier to hold.
Design & Colour Options
Previously, OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 6T will be
available in black, green, and violet finishes. The smartphone also
features a large flat display bordered by ultra-slim bezels, along with
a square-shaped camera island housing two lenses.
Another interesting addition is the Plus key on the
left side of the frame, which users can customise to trigger a specific
action—adding a layer of personalisation and convenience.
