Ferrari Unveils the Amalfi: New V8 GT With 320 km/h Top Speed

Ferrari has officially lifted the curtain on the Amalfi, its newest two-door grand tourer designed to blend long-distance comfort with unmistakable Ferrari performance. Positioned as the successor to the Roma, the Amalfi brings a fresh design philosophy, advanced digital cockpit, and a reworked twin-turbo V8 engine, all wrapped into an elegant GT silhouette.

Price, Booking Details & Availability

Ferrari has priced the Amalfi at €240,000 (approximately ₹2.42 crore). The launch model arrives in a single configuration, featuring a Verde Costiera exterior paired with a Verde Bellagio interior.

Pre-orders have already begun across Ferrari dealerships, with first deliveries slated for Q1 2026. Customers in the US can expect the model to arrive three to six months later.

Advanced Driver Assistance & New-Generation HMI

Ferrari has equipped the Amalfi with its latest ADAS suite, using a network of cameras, radars, and intelligent control units. Standard and optional features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Blind Spot Detection
  • Lane Departure Warning & Lane Keeping Assist
  • Optional Surround View system
  • Optional Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Inside, Ferrari’s updated Human-Machine Interface (HMI) now revolves around three separate displays:

  • 15.6-inch digital cluster for real-time driving data
  • 10.25-inch central touchscreen for multimedia, climate, seat settings, and system controls
  • 8.8-inch passenger screen showing performance metrics like revs and G-force

The system supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and remote vehicle monitoring via MyFerrari Connect. A wireless charger sits neatly in the redesigned central tunnel.

Twin-Turbo V8 Power & Performance

At the heart of the Amalfi is a revamped twin-turbo V8 from the F154 engine family. Key figures include:

  • 640 hp at 7,500 rpm
  • 7,600 rpm redline
  • Eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, derived from the SF90 Stradale
  • 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds
  • 0–200 km/h in 9 seconds
  • Power-to-weight ratio: 2.29 kg/hp
  • Top speed: 320 km/h

Ferrari says the updated transmission uses an enhanced control unit for faster, cleaner shifts, along with dry-sump lubrication and improved torque management.

Enhanced Dynamics & Aerodynamics

The Amalfi introduces multiple upgrades to sharpen precision and stability:

  • Brake-by-wire system: shorter pedal travel and better modulation
  • ABS Evo: optimized across all Manettino modes
  • New EPS-based grip estimation: 10% faster and more accurate, especially on low-grip surfaces
  • Active rear spoiler: automatically adjusts based on acceleration, braking, and cornering forces to maximize rear downforce

Ferrari says these improvements combine to deliver more confidence at high speed and improved handling consistency in varied conditions.

Interior Design: Luxury Meets Technology

Inside, the Amalfi adopts a dual-cockpit concept, crafting symmetrical spaces for the driver and the co-driver. The rear includes two compact seats, maintaining the 2+ layout familiar to GT cars.

Highlights include:

  • Integrated dashboard with a “monolithic” visual effect
  • Redesigned central tunnel with gear selector gate, key holder, and wireless charging
  • Optional comfort seats with 10 air chambers, massage function (five programs, three intensity levels), and multiple size options
  • Optional Burmester Premium Audio: 14 speakers delivering 1,200W of immersive sound

With premium materials throughout, the cockpit combines Italian craftsmanship with advanced digital elements.
