Infinix Note 60 Specifications Leaked: Android 16 and Dimensity 7300 Confirmed
Infinix is clearly setting the stage for a massive 2026.
With the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) just around the corner, the company
has already teased that its upcoming Note 60 series will feature satellite
calling capabilities. Now, the cat is officially out of the bag regarding the
hardware, thanks to a fresh sighting on the Google Play Console.
The listing, which was first spotted by The Tech Outlook,
confirms the model number X6879 and gives us a deep dive into what we can
expect from the base model in this new lineup.
Android 16 and MediaTek Power
The most immediate takeaway from the listing is the
software. The Infinix Note 60 is set to launch with Android 16 right out
of the box. This is a bold move, placing the device firmly on the bleeding edge
of Google’s ecosystem updates well before many competitors have made the leap.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek
processor carrying the code name ‘MT6878’. If you are familiar with chipset
architecture, this strongly points to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. The
configuration looks robust for a mid-range contender, featuring four ARM
Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz paired with four efficiency-focused
Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz.
To ensure smooth performance, the listing confirms the
handset will be equipped with 8GB of RAM. This combination should handle
heavy multitasking and modern gaming demands without breaking a sweat.
Display and Design Details
Beyond the internal specs, the console listing provides a
clear look at the device's display parameters. The screen is set to offer a
resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels, which translates to a sharp pixel
density of 520ppi.
The render included in the listing reveals a modern
aesthetic with a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Regarding
physical controls, the volume rockers and power button are situated on the
right spine. Interestingly, there is also a dedicated button visible on the
left side. While not explicitly confirmed by the image alone, this is widely
expected to function as a customizable action button, a feature becoming
increasingly popular in the smartphone market.
A Full Family of Devices?
This leak comes on the heels of previous certifications from
Indonesia’s SDPPI, which suggested that Infinix is preparing a whole family of
devices rather than just a single phone. The certification database actually
listed three distinct models:
- Infinix
Note 60: Model X6879
- Infinix
Note 60 Edge: Model X6887
- Infinix
Note 60 Pro: Model X6878
And for those looking for something truly premium, Infinix
has already confirmed that a Note 60 Ultra is in the works. This
flagship-tier version is being co-designed by the legendary Italian design
house Pininfarina, suggesting the series will not just be about raw specs, but
high-end aesthetics as well.
With CES 2026 approaching fast, we likely won't have to wait much longer for the official announcement.
