“Infinix Partners With Pininfarina: Note 60 Ultra to Launch With Italian Supercar-Inspired Design”
Infinix is preparing to unveil the Note 60 Ultra, the
company’s first smartphone crafted in collaboration with renowned Italian
design house Pininfarina. Best known for shaping some of the world’s
most iconic performance cars, Pininfarina is expanding into the smartphone
world through a new design partnership with Infinix. This isn’t the brand’s
first brush with automotive-inspired aesthetics—Infinix previously teamed up
with BMW’s DesignWorks for the Note 30 VIP Edition.
Infinix and Pininfarina Announce Long-Term Design Partnership
On Wednesday, Infinix officially revealed a strategic
alliance with Pininfarina, marking a fresh direction for the company’s premium
smartphone design language. The first product from this collaboration will
carry the name “Infinix Note 60 Ultra – Designed by Pininfarina.”
While the brand has yet to share hardware specifics, Infinix
confirmed that it will soon reveal the device’s design philosophy, key
features, and launch timeline. The partnership signals Infinix’s move
toward more refined and high-end aesthetics, guided by a design studio known
for shaping legends like the Ferrari Testarossa and Alfa Romeo Spider.
Infinix says it hopes to infuse future flagships with
Pininfarina’s signature blend of heritage, elegance, performance, and
lifestyle-driven craftsmanship—qualities long associated with the Italian
design pioneer.
Not Infinix’s First Automotive-Inspired Collaboration
The smartphone maker has previously drawn inspiration from
the automotive world. Its earlier collaboration with BMW’s DesignWorks
produced the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition, featuring the distinctive Wings
of Speed design and BMW’s trademark tri-color racing stripes. More
recently, the Note 40 series arrived with bold Formula 1–inspired
aesthetics.
The upcoming Infinix Note 60 series, which will
replace the Note 50 lineup, is expected to arrive soon. The last model in that
lineup launched in India—Infinix Note 50s 5G+—featured a 6.78-inch
full-HD+ curved AMOLED display, up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek
Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB
storage.
With Pininfarina now involved, expectations for the Note 60
Ultra’s design are considerably higher.
